David Hoffmann, CPA - Hoffmann & Swintek, LLC is known by the names of the original owners, Jack Hoffmann and Phil Swintek. The firm is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Hoffmann, CPA, CVA, Upon graduation from the University of Minnesota, David worked several years with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in Milwaukee. David returned to Minneapolis in 1975 to join the firm his father, Jack, founded. In 1980 he became a general partner in the firm.

In 2002, David passed the Series 7 exam and became qualified to sell securities in the State of Minnesota. He is also licensed to sell life insurance. On January 25, 2008, David completed the requirements of the NACVA to be a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). David is a past member and chairman of the Management of an Accounting Practice Committee of the MNCPA.

Currently David is an active board member of the St. Therese Foundation, the North Hennepin Chamber of Commerce, and the finance committee of St. Joseph the Worker. Away from work David enjoys hunting and golfing. His primary responsibilities within the firm are audit, tax, estate planning, and business valuation.
